What is this? Vicinity Minecraft is an MMO-type server where you can build, explore, complete quests, and interact with NPCs full of lore. It is open to all, whether you're a member of Vicinity or not. What are quests? Quests are short missions that NPCs will assign to you. Completing a Quest will give you rewards depending on the tier type, and Quest Points. You cannot have more than one Quest at the same time.There are five Quest Tiers - I, II, III, IV, and V.
Each Tier has different difficulties, rewards, cooldowns, and requirements.

How do you get a Quest? Simple! Right click on an NPC that has a musical note particle above their head, and accept the quest by typing or clicking "Yes" in the chat What are Quest Points? These are points used to unlock higher tier quests. 100 points will unlock Tier II 500 points will unlock Tier III 1000 points will unlock Tier IV 2000 points will unlock Tier V I want to quit the Quest I'm working on, what do I do? Just type /quests quit [quest name] (no brackets) into chat What are Market Stalls? This is how you can access the shops to buy various items within Minecraft.The shops are: Forestry, Valuables, Armor, Tools & Weapons, Food, Farming, General Store, Fish

How do I use the Market Stalls? Right click on the NPC in the stall in order to access the shop.Left clicking on an item will bring you to the buy menuRight clicking on an item will bring you to the sell menu Note: Not all items can be bought or sold, and some shops are not in spawn. What are Auctions? Auctions allow you to buy or sell items directly with other players, without using a Market Stall. You can name your own price this way. Items in the Auction House will last for 48 hours, after which you either take them back, or can re-list them. How do I sell something in the Auction House? Simply put the item you wish to sell in your hand, and in chat, type /ah sell [money amount] (no brackets).The number of things you can sell at auction is dependent on your rank.

How do I buy something in the Auction House? Go talk to the NPC in the Auction House (right click on them), and you can see what's currently available on Auction, and click on the item you want to buy. I want to build my own space, can I do that? Of course! It wouldn't be Minecraft if you couldn't build. In order to do that, use a wood shovel and right click on the corners of the area you wish to claim. You can get a free claim tool by typing /kit claim in chat. You will start with 300 claim blocks, and will receive 20 more for each hour you play on the server. Additionally, you can buy more claim blocks for $5 in-game currency, by typing /buyclaims into chat. To let other players access your claims, type /trust [name (no brackets) To remove that access, type /untrust [name] (no brackets)
