Cyperia
Five homegrown gamemodes on one server: Challenges, Bingo, OneBlockRace, Manhunt, and Ragemode. Play solo or in teams, race the clock, or go head-to-head. No pay-to-win. A German-speaking Minecraft community since 2020.
Since 2020, we have been an English- and German-speaking Minecraft community, best known for our open-source challenges plugin. (Formerly known as Coding-Area)
But there’s much more to our Minecraft network. It’s a place to chill out with friends, play creative minigames with plenty of challenges, and unlock a range of cosmetic items.
Let me introduce you to a few of our favourite gamemodes:
Challenges for example:
Has playing through Minecraft become too easy or too boring for you? With a range of settings and restrictions, we’ll turn it into a whole new challenge.
Whether it’s with half a heart, no ability to regenerate, no ability to place blocks, just one inventory slot, or any of the other options available.
Set up a game like you’ve never played before
Manhunt splits players into two groups: runners and hunters. In the lobby everyone votes on the objective, options include the Ender Dragon, the Wither, the Elder Guardian, or the Nether portal. The runners get a head start, then the hunters are released after a votable delay. The hunters receive a compass that navigates them toward the nearest runner at all times. Meanwhile the runners have to survive, gather resources, and reach their goal without getting caught. Both sides only win if they think and communicate as a team. Manhunt is the most tension-filled gamemode on Cyperia and works best for groups that want real competition.
Bingo takes the logic of the classic board game and drops it into Minecraft. At the start of each round, 9 items are drawn from a curated pool. The difficulty voted on in the lobby determines how demanding those items are. Easier rounds stay accessible and can be finished quickly. Harder rounds send players across every dimension of the game and can stretch considerably longer. The goal never changes: be the first team to collect all 9. In practice it is a fast-paced race where exploration, resource management, and a bit of luck decide who wins. Bingo works solo or in teams and suits everything from quick sessions with friends to larger community events.
Ragemode is an arena shooter in Minecraft. Everyone starts with a bow, a sword, and a throwable axe, and each of those kills in a single hit. The arrow explodes where it lands, so a good shot still catches someone around the corner. Every kill pays resin, and resin buys upgrades from the shop: a shield, armor that lets you survive one hit, a crossbow, a spear, skeleton allies, or a charge of TNT. Anything you buy lasts for that one life only, after which you start from the base kit again. Rounds are played on purpose-built arenas that everyone votes on in the lobby. After ten minutes it is over and whoever has the most kills wins. Ragemode runs solo as a free-for-all and in a team mode of two.
